This week we welcome two of our favourite guests, the Boogizm boys, back into the studio for a chat, a laugh and no doubt some fine fine music...
Over the last year or so Tom Ireland and Tom 'Boogizm' Greaves along with their Boogizm Soundsystem have left an indelible mark on the North West club scene, as their reputation for throwing great parties with friendly vibes and brilliant music grows with every event.
The Boogizm DJs blend of hip hop dub latin afro house funk brasil disco broken jazz soul etc ensures the beat on the floor is always fresh and these guys truly have the knowledge when it comes to good music.
Their joint parties with the likes of Itch in Preston, the Very Tidy Disco in Leeds, and Development in Manchester continue to unite people, often turning into a weekends worth of debauchery. Meanwhile the boys made their festival debut at Kendal Calling in July, are the official support DJs for their mates band Victorian Dad, and have plans already underway for parties in September and October in Manchester and Preston respectively.
Recently heralded by Ark Magazine as "The night that helped bring the upstairs room of The Adelphi back to life as a dark & dirty late-night drinking & dancing venue", Boogizm was last in Preston for a August Bank Holiday weekend party. The crew are back in Manchester in September for another great party that will surely shake the foundations of the city...
